Speech Pathology & Work assists Job Seekers by addressing their specific speech and language difficulties such as stuttering, unclear speech, lack of eye contact, poor social skills awareness or reading and writing problems. Interventions have a ‘work first’ focus ensuring that the strategies are applicable to the job seeking process such as job interview situation and the work environment.
Reconnecting Parents assists Job Seekers in returning to the workforce by addressing their anxieties such as lack of childcare support, existing level of skills and confidence levels. At the end of the program, parents will be equipped with the skills to reconnect them with the workforce.
Motivational Interviewing helps Job Seekers prepare for change through a focused and goal-directed approach. It helps them plan their employment future by exploring work related barriers such as lack of identified employment goal or problematic drug and alcohol use and helping them gain knowledge and strategies to undertake the changes to return to the workforce.
Pain Management supports individuals through learning strategies to manage the influence of pain on their ability to work. It helps the individual to achieve their job goals by tackling the setbacks brought on by pain.
